4th International Summer Course at the Europe Center

We start of course with the good energy of the Phowa course given by Lama Ole Nydahl. Then we will have the next exciting installment of our very own history—Riding the Tiger II, a series of transmission days focussing on the development of Diamond Way Buddhism after the years described in Lama Ole’s book Riding the Tiger.

There will also be a public lecture by Lama Ole in German on August 10th and a 12-hour meditation with Sherab Gyaltsen Rinpoche and Lama Ole.

Building on the success of the last three summer courses in our fabulous Europe Center, we will go further this year. The International Centers Meeting, which has in the past been held at one specific time during the course, is transformed into a process ongoing throughout the whole course, starting with the International Network meeting before the course and developing through the key people, project teams, center representatives, involving everyone on the course through the Marketplace, and spreading out to touch all friends in all countries after the course.

Our big push for the next phase in the growth of the EC, which we call moreEC, will be launched in the second half of the course. We know that we need more—more space in a huge new EC gompa, more rooms for residents and visitors, and more development. Finally, the whole course will be rounded off with three (!) long life initiations given by Sherab Gyaltsen Rinpoche.
